Mentorship Pathway

One student. One mentor. High school to graduation.

We connect experienced healthcare professionals with students pursuing careers in healthcare and the sciences — and we keep the match through every transition where students usually get lost.

Who we match

Both sides of the match

High-school students aspiring to healthcare careers, university students in healthcare and science fields, and alumni ready to mentor the generation behind them. Fields span holistic practice, nursing, biotechnology and allied health — and we are actively sourcing mentors in specialised professions, particularly Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.

What a mentor does

Five responsibilities

Not a one-off coffee. A held relationship with a defined shape.

  1. 01

    Mentorship match

Guide one student from high school through university completion, with consistent support during the academic transitions — graduation, transfer, first clinical placement — where support usually disappears.

  2. 02

    Career planning

Help the student set academic and professional goals, and advise on course selection, research opportunities and which pathway actually leads where they want to go.

  3. 03

    Shadowing opportunities

Open a door into a clinical, laboratory or professional setting so the student sees a real working environment early — before they commit years to it.

  4. 04

    Academic support

Track progress, give constructive feedback, and point to the resources that fix a specific weakness rather than a generic study plan.

  5. 05

    Long-term engagement

Stay through university graduation. Sustained guidance is the variable that separates this from every mentoring program a student has been offered before.
